almost 2 years ago my husband and i invested.
we bought a camera. a nikon d3000. hours spent researching & asking questions.
… after hundreds of images went un-captured because our sweet little children started moving too fast.
// i am challenged by this camera. a daily struggle because i don’t know enough and i refuse DEFEAT!
so, this past week i decided to capture: movement & close
//i need a weekly challenge. an encouragement to get the lens off & capture life.
here’s what i captured….
// sweet toes in the cold, wet sand
// eager children. driven with creative instincts.
// sweet, hearty lavender – third blooms
// artwork that will always have a home here
// new growth. stunning over-sized flowers lie inside that small bud.
// beautiful profile to the sweet child i love.
i will be adding my post to the FLT Photo Challenge this week.

We love our D300…and your photos are beautiful! (The site looks great, too!)
thank you Sarah! i’m so glad that you stopped by!
Your photos are beautiful, Aimee! I love the children running shots!
thank you Amanda. i just love capturing these sweet kids! a true joy!!
They are great! Are you using manual setting or auto settings?
thanks!! they are all on auto — i know enough manual to be dangerous but auto with my zoom seems to take good photos {of course my photographer girlfriend is coming to visit next week for 1.5 weeks so i KNOW i will be learning more about manual!
